SOLD ! Yngve Ekström, a 'Kontrapunkt' ("Counterpoint" in English) solid pine coffee table with chrome wheels. Manufactured for Swedese Möbler AB, designed 1968. Yngve Ekström was a Swedish furniture designer, wood carver, sculptor and architect and an important figure in the evolution of the Scandinavian Modernism movement. This table is a great example of the robust and brutalist style that was propular in Sweden in the late 1960's.
