Description

COMING SOON The H269 chair, designed by Jindřich Halabala in the 1930s, is one of Czechoslovakia’s most beloved and iconic pieces. Created while Halabala led the state-run United Arts and Crafts Manufacture (UP), the H269 showcases expert bentwood craftsmanship—wood steamed or soaked until pliable and then shaped into sweeping forms. Its signature, exaggerated arms form a generous, graceful curve that defines the chair’s sculptural silhouette and enduring appeal.
