Alfred Christiansen Danish Modern High Back Easy Chair, 1940s, With Curved Open Arms

Danish Modern high-back lounge chair, model 23B by Danish designer, Alfred Christensen.  This very comfortable classic easy chair from the 1940's is covered in green velvet with touches of cord piping. The chair features curved, open arms and Christiansen's signature saber legs in beech. The silhouette is both sculptural and slim, the construction durable and sturdy.
