Danish Lounge Chair, 1940s Vintage Wingback Armchair

This Danish lounge chair has oversized features that are distinctive to Danish cabinetmaker chairs from the 40's. With a curved wingback shape and rounded feet, this chair is reminiscent of Märta Blomstedt's chair designed for the Aulanko Hotel in Hämeenlinna, Finland. It also echoes the design of Flemming Lassen's "The Tired Man" lounge chair for AJ Iversen.
