Description
"Taraxacum" which is the Latin genus word for Dandelions, is a pendant lamp designed by Castiglioni Italy, circa 1960. Constructed in enameled metal with a cocoon resin diffuser, the model is distinguished by its organic, cloud-like silhouette and diffused ambient glow. Developed during a period of material experimentation in Italian design, the "Viscontea" stands as one of the era’s most recognizable lighting forms, merging technical innovation with a distinctly sculptural presence.
