SOLD Kaare Klint Safari Chairs for Rud Rasmussen in Ash and Canvas

Danish Safari chairs designed by Kaare Klint who is known as the father of Danish modernism. They were designed in the 1930s and manufactured by Rud Rasmussen in the 1960's. Klint was inspired by images of the Roorkhee chair which were African Safari chairs that were lightweight and easy to transport. 

The wood frames are made of ash and have been refinished.  The seats are canvas fabric and the armrests are leather. The backrests are adjustable and adapt to your seating position.
