Karin Mobring Pine and Saddle Leather Lounge Chairs, 1970's, a pair

Pair of vintage Swedish leather lounge "Natura" chairs, 1970's. These chairs combine the warmth of natural pine with the richness of cognac-colored saddle leather.  The leather has a deep patina and the look of well loved design, only available with true vintage.  It was designed so that over time, as the leather stretches, adjustable straps beneath the seat can be tightened.  These chairs reference the well-known design of Borge Mogensen's Spanish chairs of the same era.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER Karin Mobring is a Swedish designer celebrated for her influential contributions to Scandinavian furniture design.
