Metaphora table designed by Massimo and Lella Vignelli in 1979 for Martinelli Luce. A glass top sits upon four black marquina marble shapes which represent the four forms of Euclidean geometry. The sphere represents the globe, the pyramid represents Egyptian civilization, the cylinder --the Roman empire and the black cube represents the black stone of Kabba at Mecca.  The four elements can be positioned freely for a unique composition.

The table is in excellent condition, there is a small chip on the bottom of edge of a pyramid.
